4 Nonlinear Poetic Automata.

Reinforcing changing attitudes and roles towards art, religion and technology, Semantic Disturbances is experimental research using Google search results. Textual fragments found on the Web are programmatically rearranged, deformed or crushed, deconstructing and recontextualizing the actual text. By applying this strategic process 'new, dismantling and reorienting' contexts arise, not directly fitting in the mundanity of the original result listings.

Biography

A. Andreas (NL 1956) is a transdisciplinary artist, writer and editor, who studied physics and mathematics at the University of Amsterdam NL, electronic and computer music at the State University Utrecht NL and holds a BSc. in software engineering (University of Applied Sciences - The Hague NL). Among his works are , , , and . His pieces have appeared in Nictoglobe (Volume 14 Issue 3, 2005) and New River Journal (Fall, 2007) as well as being performed at various Europian festivals and nightclubs.
